PROTESTS ALLOVER TURKEY(2nd term)

              There have been a lot of protest against the turkish goverment and to support the Taksim protestors. Why are there these protests? Why and what do these people want? I think people got tired of the pressure the goverment put on them. At first, the protest was to protect the trees from being cut to build Topkapı Barrack or a shopping mall on the Gezi Park. But the police attacked the protestors with tear gas and water. After that, these all protests broke out. Day by day, people started to try to support the protestor in Taksim. From Edirne to Kars, every city attended the protests. In some s,cities police didn’t block people protesting but in big cities like Ankara or İzmir, police attacked theprotestors with tear gas and water. The Prime Minister is insisting on building the Topkapı Barrack on Gezi Park. He didn’t listen to the protestors’ requests. I think he is trying to seperate people into 2 groups, supporters of Prime Minister and Anti Prime Minister. Because he says “I can’t hold the 50% at home, they are trying to protest against the protestors.

          

           I think we should come together, move on together and try to stop these all. The Prime Minister should listen to protestor and they together should come to a conclusion. On the contrary, this country is moveing into a chaos. There will be more protests all over the country until a conclusion.

            

           Well, while all these are happening, what is media doing? Answer is nothing. Because ther are not objective and they are the supporters of the Prime Minister. But a lot of people share the news and their opinions through social media. Facebook and Twitter is are the leading social media sites which help people share their opinins and news.
