Here is a video which talks about Taksim protests. The foreign
media is much more interested in these event that the Turkish media. They are
talking about the real facts and real events. Protesters staged a sit-in at Gezi Park
after Istanbul authorities announced it was being rebuilt. The demonstration
turned violent after riot police moved in with tear gas and water cannon.
Protesters have been chanting for Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to
resign. The rioting has spread to other provinces of Turkey and scores of
people have been injured.
We must be much
more sensitive about what is happening and what has happened. We should try to make
people aware of the situation, and maket hem see who is right or not. İf we keep
silent and no body moves. Much more violence will break out and the authorities
will be much more powerful. They will put much more pressure on us. WE MUST OPEN
OUR EYES.
